My first big wreck!!!!

Glad to hear your alright...i've had a few close calls like that too. Once down at our park, i was doing a wheelie (showing off) and theres these poles on the side of the road that i was going through, i forgot about them. My front tires made it threw, (i was going in a diagnal line) then my back right tire it it...the fourwheeler did a complete front flip and i flew off it. It landed on its wheels and i thought it was going to land on me form where iw as laying on the ground...thats scary, my whole life flashed before my eyes. But i was alright...got the breathe knocked out of me, thats all. The quad looked fine...but i got to driving home, and the back axle and rim were bent baad. Had to bend the axle back, and thats about it. It was fine
The whole thing with those wire fences...err, i hate them. One time, when i was exploring a new trail, there was one of those barbed wire fences...with no warning things on them at all. I didn't know that i was going into private property, there was no signs anywhere. well, i was going about 30 or so, and all the sudden i see this little peice a reflection, and i looked, slammed on both of my brakes. My front bumper was hitting the wire, it bent the wire in about 3 inches...that was scary

Thanks everyone for the responses. Thats what I like about ATV people, there all nice as h3ll. When I wrecked, so many people just rode over to see if I was alright, and when I asked a guy to use his tool box to fix my handlebars, he was more than happy to help. ATV people are great. I made it through work alright today, my ribs are EXTREMELY sore, I hope I didnt crack any of them. I will giev it a week. Other than that I feel fine....Hopefully I will fix the throttle housing this Sat. and be back at the track on Sunday. Thanks again!!!

Yeah it happened to me too. I wreaked my z 400. I was giong up a hill to launch off at the top, well at the top there is a drop off, when i went to go soar through the air, there came yfzrydermaces dad. I tried my best to move out of the way but i was diong like 3rd wide open and it didn't move a bit. Wham i hit him head on, sending him off the 4-wheeler, and me over the bars. I spraned my wrist, and dislocated his shoulder with a torn ligamect. He said it was his fault but i couldn't help but still feel aful.He will be off work for 4-6 weeks.

Wrecking is never an good thing. But Martino, as a land owner and farmer, your post almost pisses me off as bad as you were. The farmer is in the wrong for stringing up the line, but at the same time, your in the wrong for being on someone eles's property without permission. (and it must of been that way if he was putting things up to try and stop the vandalizm) If indeed you were riding in a field that has been planted, the farmer should have contacted the local CO's and pressed charges against you. Which can turn into some very big bucks!! But at the same time, if you had been more seriously hurt, the farmer should have been held responsible. There are ways to prevent that sort of thing from happening. And in almost all cases, just showing some respect for the next guy will "get er done" I geuss my point is, don't be to quick to get madd at someone for doing something wrong when your just as guilty.
Back to subject!!
My oldest son had a bad wreck this weekend on his 300ex. The lower shock mount broke off the a-arm while jumping. When he landed, it pitched him off frontward and fliped the qaud about 2 1/2 times. Bent lots of stuff, but nothing that can't be fixed. Bruised him up a bunch, but he did have his riding gear on and was able to limp away ok.
