Default Help! Raptor 660 vs. Z400!!!

I am deciding wheter to buy a z400 or a Raptor. I really want a Raptor, but i hear a z400 is also a very nice quad. I don't want a racing quad, just one to screw around with and take on the trails. Thanks.

wow 34 post and you dont know the answer to your question...if you dont want a race bike know, think again, cause it only takes one other fast quad that smokes ya for you to want a faster bike..spend the extra grand and get the raptor....

Well this is entirely up to you Polaris600, you really need to ride both. Personally I would and did choose the Z. I like to do all types of riding and I felt the Z had the best performance and fun factor combination in all areas of riding. I have done well with it on the track and the trail. But the Raptor is a good quad to, if you are strictly a trail rider this wouldn't be a bad choice. It's simply rider preferance.

Anybody who says one is better hands down is biased, so ignore those kind of posts.

I BEAT A 660 STOCK WITH MY QUAD.. AND ITS A KFX 400.. BUT ITS GOT MODS.. THATS WHAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE. THE RAPTOR IS TIPPY ON TRAILS SOMETIMES.. AND THE 400 RIDES NICE. JUST TAKE TEH EXTRA MONEY U SAVE AND UPGRADE THE KFX/Z.. THATS MY OPINION. I LOVE MINE!

I' ma bigger guy [6 foot, 265 pounds] so I would want the raptor. Have you rode a predator? They come extra wide from the factory.

i was going to get a raptor but went with the z, i don't think you can go wrong with either. i have not had the chance to ride a raptor so i cannot comment on it. all i know is that my z is geared really high stock and isn't that great for slow tight trail riding.
