In my opinion the Kodiak has the best belt drive tranny out there. The Kodiak is a great quad enjoy!

Congradulations on your new purchase.Though I've not had the opportunity to ride one,I have rode along side others who owned the Kodiak,great quad.Play safe and enjoy the many happy yrs you'll have with your new toy,

He had to sell that Kodiak because he was moving to B.C., so he didn't want to spend the money on shipping it across the country. He also had a nice Harley Davidson for sale...$25,000.

I recomend the Bear Claws Tires in OE size for replacement tires. The compound is on the hard side so they can take all kinds of abuse. 4 ply rated and can be flicked around in the corners.
Not a dedicated mud tire but hold their own well.

Hey Kodiac... Where do you usually ride? I ride around Quispamsis, and French Village. I haven't seen a kodiac in the woods yet. THere don't seem to be too many around here. I think I'm going to be selling my Wolverine soon, but I'm seriously considering a 2001 Kodiak next spring.

Hey derekjes,....just got back from my camp & read your message. Good to hear from ya..I usually ride around my camp, anywhere from Clarendon To Lepreau & Lake Utopia...Hundreds of miles of nothing but dirt roads & trails. I never see the same trail twice in one day....Lots of great atving....& wild game....
