If yamaha would put thier R-6 engine into one of thier atvs things would get interesting
on a mid 50hp quad people have trouble using all its power. can you imagine how long the swingarm would have to be to keep 160+ hp on all fours. shees with 100hp have massive swingarms and still pull wheelies. its just not logical to put a motor like that in a quad frame. and i would like to see an inline 2cyl 4stroke twin to replace the shee maybe like a 450 or 500.

If Yamaha wants to change things in a hurry they should drop thier R-6 engine into one of thier atvs, light weight, four stroke inline four, fuel injected, lots of horses. With a little work it would be possible and would start a whole new breed of high performance machines.
