Just spoke with a tech guy with White Bros. He did'nt have / would'nt give peak Hp readings for the Raptor. He did say the slip-on for the Raptor is making an extra 6 hp. I say six extra HP at one point? He says a 6 hp everage increase from top to bottom and goes on to say that the stock Raptor muffler/spark arrester is very restrictive. 100 have went out to customers so far. Thought I would pass the info. along.

I was told by one of the guys that it was 6 HP at 6,000 RPM. He wasn't really clear on the peak HP but mentioned 39 if memory serves me. Could that have been the stock peak though?

I really want to see a dyno chart, the torque plays a big factor as well.

Keep in mind that white Bros customers are other companies not all are sold to individuals, the first will go out to dealers and mail order companies. I had read somewhere that the slip on is not but maybe 3-6 hp but a full exhaust will make over 10+ hp.

I just bought the White Bros. slip on tonight. It has a dyno sheet with peak horsepower on a prototype raptor all stock with only the slip on using 12 discs it made 36.4 hp at 6,100 rpm.

The manual then states that they were able to attain more power using 14 discs. And that jetting and high flow (k&n) filter would further increase hp. F.Y.I.

p.s. I saw gty-r a-arm guards at the dealer also-everyone sit down..they were $100. Way too much for something so simple. I believe that PRM ones are half that price.

Is that a gain from the stock one they used, it doesnt sound very high considering someone has dynoed 38Hp at rear wheels on a stock one. But I also want to know whether it is jetted at all with the slip on WB and 12 discs.

Under the dyno graph it reads: the graph shows a stock raptor with e-series installed with 12 discs

it also says stock jetting

one thing that is weird though is there is not a stock hp curve on the graph to show the difference

what is stock hp supposed to be? could this 36.4 hp be stock or a misprint by white bros?

tomorrow I will put this thing on the bike and see how it runs

till then

I would have hoped they would have had a comparison, Dyno runs dont mean jack unless you know what stock was on that particular Dyno. I cant believe the put out a dyno chart with stock jetting, It was probably robbed of power form too lean of jetting. Oh well Let us know how it works, Im waiting on curtis sparks full system to see how they do, I know they made the most on the YZ 4 strokes and they seem to be doing something right with all of top riders using them.

So far so good. My raptor now has stronger power in 2nd, 3rd and 4th gears. Using stock gearing stock jetting and 12 discs. I might try going to 10 discs to see if it helps with stock jetting until jet kits and k&n filters become available
