Default wheel kit affecting speed ometer?

oops sorry,,,hit the wrong button

i was thinking of upgrading to a 26" ITP wheel kit with the Mudzilla treads,,,but was wondering how it would effect my speed ometer acuracy,,,and if/how can you recalibrate?

Good God! It smells in here!
No it will actually make it closer to reality. They are a little optimistic when they set them from the factory. Won't be a problem.

so your saying its calibreted to read faster than actual speed from the factory?

ahhh,,,,i see you have the 26" wheel kit,,,,how much did you gain in groun clearance?

did you have to do a lift kit"

and if not,do you ever tire rub?

I may have gotten 1/2" ground clearance, but I didn't need a lift at all. The tires never rub, even when landing from 4ft in the air. I am running 10" wide in the front and 12" wide in the rear. The dirt devil xts gave me enough traction to wheelie with abandon in high gear. I keep them at 5 psi in front and 4 psi in the back. Hard in the front to corner and soft in the rear to keep alot of the tire in contact with the ground to tame the torque.

thanx batman,,,i apreciate the insight,,,,,im teetering with the idea of maybe going with the 27" kit,and a 2' lift,with the mudzillas
