Yeah, the old LT doesn't match up greatly with a YFZ. The Yamaha is noticeably better in all areas stock vs even a moderately tuned LT. Don't get me wrong, for the money they are still the best bang for the buck out there bar none. I have enjoyed my time on my LT, get one and enjoy it!

 

Yeah the LT250R will destroy a blaster. I've raced my LT against my buddies Blaster on pavement and it's over within 20 feet. Peak horsepower wise they actually have more than 450, but no where near the broad usuable power range which makes the 450 a faster.

Alot of people still want 2000 grand for them, if you're lucky you can pick a good one for 1000-1500, any cheaper and it's going to be ragged out.
