Default Banshee Bogging Down?? Help

Just got my new 04 Banshee. I replaced the plugs and clean the air filter. Now it seems to start missing at mid-range RPMs. Once the power band kicks in its fine. Lower RPMs are alright too. The original owner was running different Spark Plugs. I replaced them with the standard ones the Yamaha deal gave me? Is it the plugs possibly?? Is so what plugs should I use??? If not the plugs what could it be??? All help is much appreciated.
John

Is it piped?? If so it sounds like the needles are set too high. If not, then I'd say it was having the same problem with the orig. owner & instead of playing with carburation he used hotter plugs, which is not the answer. The Banshee should use the NGK BR8ES or B8ES.

Default Banshee Bogging Down?? Help

Go to toomey.com, in their faq section there is a great explanation as to what is happening. In short, every banshee has a "rich zone" that can't be jetted out {due to motor harmonics vibrating the needle },and it's right before the cylinders are harmonized {right before the powerband}.

Sounds like everyone is giving you things to check.... Check um all...
theCATman has a good question, is it piped??? If it is what main jets are you running??? Like theCATman said, drop the needles (raise the clip) and see if this has any affect....
