What is the case made out of? cast iron, pot metal, or aluminum.

If this is just for cosmetic purposes and doesn't affect the ridability of the bike you might want to re-think on what your doing.

Unless you have connections, it could cost you depending on what the going shop rate is in your area.

My banshee has the exact same break and as long as it doesn't affect the riding I'm just going to leave it alone.

I am a welder by trade so I do know some things about this.

If your going to try and get it fixed I would suggest that you tear the engine down and then have it welded. Better not to take any chances.

You don't want to get it done and then find out it might have done something to the internal parts or maybe even the seals.
