hey, how much do you think it will take to make an 03 yfz, like the new one (as far as the displacement goes) and have it run mint like a new model?

 

take the stock head which is 439cc's and bore it out to a 450 like the new ones, which are actually 449cc's, and maybe a pipe depending on anything different they did to the motor that I forget about lol

 

How much money do you think it would cost...like $0 - 500 range or like 500-1000 to make it a clone of the new model (Engine wise)

 

Well just to bore it out would probably be 400 or under because usually the pistons with rings are around 170-230 depending on wether it comes with a sleeve or not......

 

there is no 03yfz ,04 was the first year and no change in the 04 and 05 models they are the same 439cc.the head is design differnent on the 05 but thats it .06 are the true 449cc .if its a 04 or 05 i say put the wr crank in it will run with the new 06 yfz

Do you mean cam? and yea its a 04 YFZ so what do you think should be done?
