but its kinda really a good thing i guess. so much fun!

 

I was riding my Raptor through a field at my buddy's house, I was basically just following him since it was his land. He ran back to his house to make a phone call, and I was out in the field by myself. I took off around this dried up pond, and I think I was in 3rd gear pretty well rapped out, not sure how fast that is, maybe 40-ish mph, I hit a small little dip in the land, like where a creek would run and next thing I know I wake up on the ground. My Raptor was about 30 yards away from me, and I had tire marks on the back side of my arm and back, my helmet wasn't strapped on so it flew off about 20 feet. Had a pretty serious concusion, and couldn't walk right for about a month.

 

My dad had just bought me my first Dirtbike (some offbrand) and me and my friend were racing around an open field as soon as i figured out the clutch. he made a turn too sharp and i was inexpienced so i ran over his bike (just barley missing his head) i went flying in one direction and my bike in the other. i landed about 15ft away from were i wrecked with a concussion.

 

i have bad luck at the dunes. the only two times i wrecked have been at dunes (besides a common roll). my second time on a quad, first time at dunes, and im out night ridin, i go up this hill way to fast and fly over the top of the hill in a wheelie position, fly back and land on my back, of course the quad lands on top of me, it broke my leg, i couldnt breathe, long story short, i couldnt ride for the next five days we were there. that was the worst part, i did it the first night we were there.

 

welcome to the forums muzzy. good first post. better than most. deffinently a lot better than "whats better? a 450R or a yfz? what would win in a drag race? whats the top speed of a raptor? my banshee can beat anything!!!"

 

Me personally havent had to bad of a wreck the worst would probally be when i was on my tri-z 250 three wheeler running bout 60 in the dark and didnt see my freind in front on a bayou 300 and i hit the back brakes went to skiding and my back tire hit his back and it flung me over the bars about 20-30 feet but i somehow only had some minor scratches .But the worst ive experinced was me and my freind and about 6 others went out for a night ride flying down a loging road that we ridden a millon times no gates nothing im in front tapping 60 and i see a metal gate the big round pole type i tap my brakes trying to warn every one and i hear my freind on his banshee pegged probaly hitting 65-maybe 70 and next thing i know i see him fly by me by the time i scream out all i hear is a loud crunch and the banshee smashes under the gate ripping the bars off and tank and i see my freind flying we all jump off to go help get on the cell phone call 911 they call for flight for life but it was to late we removed his helmet and his eyes was open but red and about a minute passes and blood just begans to run from his nose and mouth and this haunts me still makes me sick at my stomach and sometimes makes me just go burn my atv he was 22 at the time and you couldnt have ever met a better person and he will be forever loved and missed by me and all his fellow riders.So let me conclude here everyone please be carefull and safe!!!!

Thanksgiving 2001 I was in glamis and looped out on a jump on my 95 modded cr500 in 5th gear. I landed on my *** and my spine compressed so hard it shatter my L1 vertabre. After being air born from brawly to UCSD, I went under the knife for 2- 8 hour opps. I woke up to my family standing over me. The doc said i had a 50- 50 chance of walking. I was in the most pain of my life for 6 monts straight. I wanted to die. I was in the hospital for 3 months. 500,000. Dollers in med bills coverd by Kaiser. thank god. But now, for some reasion I'm fine and still ride. That was just my last one. lol.

 

My cousins are very serious with motocross. The older one is a nut. He was on a ramp trying to do god knows what. He put his foot in the front tire spokes and got his foot stuck. When he leaded the wheel turned snapping his ankle and the bike flipped.He flew off and ended up breaking his wrist. He still loves riding and wont give it up after breaking his wrist twice, two concussions,and two broken ankles. Wouldnt be suprised to see my cousins on tv one day.
