a stock raptor or a stock ds 650?

There are just to many varaibles to make a desicion. Are the riders equal? Assuming that the riders are equal, I would give it to the Raptor. Now in a long desert race I would take the DS, but for a 300ft drag its going to be close each time, but I still think the Raptor will edge the DS. Just my opinon I have no evidence to back my theroy.

 

Well we drag raced my DS 650 against my buddies Raptor 660, back when they were both still stock, and the DS650 won three out of three races. And I out weighed the Raptor rider by 50 lbs, but still won every race. So I would say no contest, with equal riders, on a completely stock DS vs a completely stock Raptor (including stock tires), both ATVs being 2005 models, the DS is going to win.

yes i would say it would depend on the driver, but i think the stock raptor has a bit more upperhand

 

I don't know.........when my Rappy was stock it wouldn't beat a whole lot. Stock 400s and not much more. I would have to say the DS but maybe my Rappy was just slow.

 

it all depends on the rider. because i raced some guy on a snowy road up to top speed and i owned his DS650. he looked heavier then me and he said he had a K&N, i had my mods. i also had my friend on the back, who weighs 160, and i weigh 200. and we won 2 out of 3 races. it ALL depends on the rider..
