I am thinking about buying a good playbike to trail ride fast on! Is this a good bike for trails? I found a 2002 YZ85 for $800.00. Is this bike hard to keep up on the maintenance? I have a 2000 Yamaha WR400f right now but I also won't a fast playbike to ride on. I'm 6'2" is this bike too small for me to play on? I heard this bike is very fast for a 80 or 85 class. I play on my TT-R125L right now on my trails but won't something much faster. I play on my Yamaha WR400F to! Is it hard to keep the powerband working on trails? I need to know as much as I can about it! I just like to ride something different for a change and a 2-stroke is unpredictable which is very fun to ride! Do you have to keep the rpms up to keep it running good? What maintenance do you have to do it normally? How fast does 1st and 2nd gear go in mph? Any info will be appreciated! Thank You!

 

yz85 is a great trail bike imo and i love to ride it im 6' 200lbs and that thing lifts me up no problem at all and first through second is pretty fast and you most likey wont get out of third if your in some trails and a 2002 for 800.00 is a steal i would definatly grab that pending its condition but id say it would be a great bike to toy around on as far as keeping the rpms up you really dont have to worry about it youll be keeping them up and you wont even relize it the only regular maintence would be tightening the chain every so often

 

Just do a pipe and gear it down a tad and you'd have a great trail machine as long as you feel comfortable on it.
