Default flywheel help

More likely to stall out, but it will help your bottom end a bit.

If you also get a heavier flywheel it will increases inertia, which reduces the quad's tendency to stall out. It will reduce vibration which reduces rider fatigue. As you already know it gives you smoother power that pulls harder and harder, top end is not affected.

Default flywheel help

The engine will rev faster with a lightened flywheel and it will rev slower with a heavier flywheel.
I run a PVL ignition on my Banshee and it has no flywheel

Default flywheel help

Depending upon what type of riding you do it is a nice little mod..It basically makes the motor spool up faster and rev back down quicker(great for MX..Your getting into the powerband faster with a lightened flywheel..You actually loose bottom end if you take a good chunk off the flywheel..I'm not sure about on other bike's but on my blaster your either giving it all or nothing..If you do have a blaster your flywheel is overly heavy..I had 8oz shaved off mine and i love it..But don't buy into some companies bull shiot..Any machine shop that has a lathe can do it..If your doing this mod on a blaster the weight is taken off the top off the flywheel(the flat side)..If you do decide to do it you need a flywheel puller and a flywheel holder to get the flywheel off..If your doing it on a blaster when you put it back on it needs to be torqued to 53ft lbs..Hope that helps
