Price is good if canadain. its ok for trail riding but you wont be able to keep up with any atvs if that what you want maybe a blaster or some other slow atvs but they are lugish. There were made intentionally for hunting. As for plowing sure it will be great. Like i said there not really meant for handling or that. As for a trail pass im sure. There great and for a 1000 you can really go wrong try to get it for 800 but a 1000 is fine.

ok well i'll go with my dad to check it out yeah we don't do much trail riding like on trails that you need a pass and stuff but it would be nice to be able to take her out somtimes if you know what i mean and if its too lugish we'll just put a 25 horse honda in it and see what happens with that

There is a place in louisiana. www.members.tripod.com/~TERRAJET/ they have new and used parts. they try to help but seams like they just want to sell parts. also have parts manuals, about 30 bucks. helps in reasembly. 1000 is a good price for one that may need some work. just got done restoring a 71 400e (square headlight). I'm having trouble with the carb but she runs and moves. I'm sure she will float. after a restore I would be asking around 3500. only because of the time invested. good luck
