Sooner or later the truckers will raise he!! and stop truckin... I thought of this today, all the movie theater, fast food, Restuarnts, Shopping malls, grocery stores, and evry thing else that pple spend thier extra money on is soon going to loose thier buisness b/c of the lack of pple coming and buying stuff. Im thinking about sellin my truck and gettin a hybrid. LOL jk... i still have enough money to afford gas but it is on the decline. What about schools??? My school can barley afford new books and how are they supposed to afford diesel for the busses? I guess the kids that arnt 16 can just walk... jk but n e ways this gas thing is getting on my nervs along with the rest of the united states. Oh yeah.... I BET THE SENATORS PHONES ARE RINGING OFF THE HOOK with complaints from citizens.

Actually, not to sound like a know it all, but there are 3.71 liters to a gallon, so E1.10 X 3.71 = E4.08 / gallon, and the exchange rate is E1.00 / $1.23, so E4.08 X $1.23 = $5.02 per gallon.

Makes that $2.71 a gallon sound pretty good. Thats what I pay out here on the left coast, home of some of the most expensive gas in the nation.

Gas is over $5 in Europe. I see no reason to fret over $2.70. (Granted it is bullsh*t that we pay that much just because bush went to war for no reason but still not as bad as europe.)[/quote]

But for the 5 bucks a gallon in Europe they get their health care coverage payed for. I wonder if you pay 100 clams a month for health care coverage and gas at 2.62 if the 5 dollars a gallon would work out to be cheaper.

This is not a road you want to go down. Compare the economies of Europe with that of the US. The taxation, unemployment, and socialism of those countries is not something we want here. Not to mention the fact that our health care system is far better than theirs.

Thats way too true. I've read a story where a guy who was shot in the spine could not get a bed in a different hospital which was the only place where he might have a chance of not beign paralysed for life

Try live in Ireland for a day and say that this government doesn't screw ya! The price of living here is through the roof. You wouldn't believe how dear it is to keep quads here thats why quads are not a common past time in Ireland. I could go on for days about this F'in country.
I'll give you a few examples. Car tax increases with engine size my dad and I couldn't afford to buy a old car we liked one time it had a 3.9 V8 engine cause tax was gonna be 1800 euro or more per year. the prices of new and used vehicle like a new yfz450 is 9500euro! All the cars sold here a poxy littel things with littel engines (hippies!). Insurance for first time drivers is unbelieveable, were talkin a couple of grand. General everday things are way over priced here.

If I had my way I'd rather live in america!
