I cant afford to RIDE

What amazes me is the fact that as soon as gas prices go up, people blame the same president who is trying to open up more drilling on american soil to help the high gas prices. Whatever happens, we can never blame the hippie eco-freaks, I'd like to shove a spotted owl right up their a**es.

QUOTE from spudley: bc is also a huge lumber producer and yet I pay just as much, if not more, for a board as you do, figure that one out.
I know thats right. I see it all the time, Canadians coming down to Minnesota to buy Canadian made products such as lumber, shingles, etc. They pay an import tax at the Canadian border on goods produced there, but it is still cheaper for them to buy it here and ship it back. That's your liberal govenment for you. Don't think for a minute they are any better than the "evil" corporations.

Yeah i actually thought about MPG when i put my rear end in the stang but i'm still glad i went with the 4.10's. It used to get over 20MPG until i started messing with it. The fuel injection still is a little more efficient than a carb but when it comes to drag racing fuel consumption really is a non factor. You can't go fast and worry about how much fuel you are burning. LOL

Gas really isnt bothering my that much. We have the most high tech and well off economy and yet we are still paying 1/3 less then other countries. Italy is paying 6.25 right now a gallon. My truck gets 18MPG and I fill up for about 36-40 dollars. So, a tank usually lasts me about 5-7 days. Depending on if I ride twice a week or once a week. My gas card bill which is my truck and fourwheeler usually runs about 160 a month. I wont start complaining till we get to about 3.50. I laugh everytime I go to a station or talk to my friends about having them big Hemi trucks and what not, and really dont need them. EGO EGO EGO. I love my S-10. 4.3L V6 Vortech. Pulls my bikes perfectly and gets good gas mileage.
