Well I may as well throw in the canadian perspective A us gallon of gas 4.23$ This is absolutely criminal there is oil wells everywhere up here and plenty of refinery's. I am not sure who is responsible for this but I would love to wrap my hands around his neck. OPEC bull$hit. The trucker strikes are all over the place up here right now, they shut down one of the busiest docks for 6 weeks because of these strikes. Oh and I will agree with emerald isle on the healthcare issue, the average income Canadian, if he was given all his tax to pay at once, works till mid June to pay his taxes for the year, lovely hey?

Bush has nothing to do with the gas prices. Everyone thinks immediatly as soon as something goes wrong they blame the person at the head of the country. Learn some facts before you blame anyone.

I am very aware of that and that is what makes me sick. Oil drilling has at the very least quadrupled they can hardly find enough people to work in the oil field and yet 1.14$ per liter. I hear all kinds of BS about a growing chinese market and a large refinery in south america being down, but I think that some people are just as greedy as sin and are lining thier pockets at our exspense.BTW bc is also a huge lumber producer and yet I pay just as much, if not more, for a board as you do, figure that one out. One more comment some of the richest people I know are able to have thier books show that they don't make hardly anything I wonder what a company like exxon is able to hide?
