My truck gets 18MPG and I fill up for about 36-40 dollars. So, a tank usually lasts me about 5-7 days. Depending on if I ride twice a week or once a week. My gas card bill which is my truck and fourwheeler usually runs about 160 a month. I wont start complaining till we get to about 3.50. I laugh everytime I go to a station or talk to my friends about having them big Hemi trucks and what not, and really dont need them. EGO EGO EGO. I love my S-10. 4.3L V6 Vortech. Pulls my bikes perfectly and gets good gas mileage.

im only 14 i dont have to worry bout the gas right now but their saying in one year its going to be up to 5 dollars..i dont no what you think but any truck will be 100-175 dollars to fill maybe even more. my blaster will be around 20 dollars to fill. its gettin crazy. and as someone said before the prices on everything will go up the stuff that you want to buy had to be transported there witch needed gas to get there. if the gas was just around 1.50 last year i bet bush could take these prices even below that if he was doing it before. i dont get why you guys are comparing to other countries half those people dont even have to drive to work and most of them are makin more money to even it all out. the gas prices keep rising but not many peoples salarys are rising.

orca0294, on your very first post ever, you laid a big egg. Let me explain to you why gas prices move the way they do. Structural problems in the gasoline refining and distribution system, including limited refining capacity and problems in the logistics of distribution set the stage for volatile prices. Supply shocks, such as refinery outages or pipeline ruptures, trigger rapid price increases.
Being 14, I can't expect you to understand that it is not Bush's fault. As a matter of fact, it would not be Kerry's fault either, had he been elected. Next time, before you repeat what you heard someone else say, do a little research. You may just find out that they were wrong.

You wrote "if the gas was just around 1.50 last year i bet bush could take these prices even below that if he was doing it before. "
Bush has nothing to do with the price of gas. Blaming Bush for the high gas prices makes about as much sense as Rosie O'donnel blaming a spoon for her being fat.
