Maybe one of you can help this KFX so it can take on the new Raptor.I have put a Muzzy pipe and added two TPI valves in the air box I then installed the dial a jet kit.I now have no top end and it is back firing,But the muzzy sound is like no other I love that new pipe how do I get it working?

I would also like to comment that if that Raptor ou were showing us in that vidio was jetted anything like what I did today it was probably slower than stock it looked it.

Well...a couple things... First just drill 12 1 inch holes in the airbox lid, ditch the dial a jet and pick the jets up to about 180 and see what happens. You will gain way more with 12 holes then the TPI deal you are doing. You back firing is most likely a lean condition jetting, mine did it too. Pick up your jets and turn out your air fuel screws and do plug checks till you get it dialed in.
That 660 in the vid actually runs pretty good... The 700's are all just faster, both KFX's are hopped up pretty good, and the rappy 700 well yeah its faster.

OK so I drill the holes in the lid of the air box not on the sides?I can close the holes off in with the TPI Valves.Next I get jets in the 180 range which side is the smaller side jet wise.I go with like a 178 on one side and a 180 on the other.

You put the holes in the slanted side of the lid. The front jets are smaller, so you would be going 178F-180R Thats about where I would start, if you are at sea level.

Thanks for your help I am going to get some more jets today from the dealer.I put a dial a jet on it and it wasnt enough.I will also put the holes in the lid just because more air has to be better.

Another thing, you will gain more if you ditch that K&N and get a twin air. The top is open on the twin and the K&N is hard plastic.
