You move the CLIP down for a richer setting which in turn raises the needle.

The higher the needle the less obstruction in the carb, so when the clip is at the lowest point its at maximum flow.

how is it striped the top of the bolt? or are the threads striped if it is the bolt then a pair of vise grips or get a dremel and make a slot for a screw driver if its the threads that are striped then you need to drill it out and tap it to the next size

This happend to me this weekend, with the float bowl screws. I used the smallest pair of vice grips I could find. I cant believe how soft those are.

For the float bowles.. i stripped 1 myself.. i took a really really small hack saw and i cut a straight cut, then i took out a flat screw driver and unscrewed it lol.

i have had great success using my 14.4 dewalt drill with the torque setting between 1 and 2

the tap, tap, tap action with a new bit tip (at slow speed) has yet to be duped

it works surprisingly well for carb screws
