My friend is getting a DG Silencer/ Header for his blaster. It has a 230 main jet and we were wondering what size to put in it. Could some one please help?

My guess would be that you'll need around a 260 main.

Start off at about a 290 or 280 then work your way down. If it runs rich with the 290, try the 280. If its still to rich try a 270 and keep checking your pug until u find the right one. Just remember when trying to find the right main jet, always start richer and go leaner. Dont go the opposite way or u could seize ur motor while testing it out if its to lean. Does he have anything else besides the pipe and silencer like reeds or an airfliter?

he has reeds and a k&n but he got it of ebay and the guy had already done that stuff. It has a straight pipe that the guy made with doesnt really help. Also it has 6- 1 1/2" holes in the air box lid or remove it.

i am going to re-jet it. Take of the airbox lid, get an outerwear, and try a 300 main jet then go down.
