what would i have to do to beat a 05 660r. would it be just to change the front sproket

You shouldn't even need to change the sprocket to beat them, just give 'er throttle and watch them eat your dust! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

here is the thing my cousin has a 660, and he thinks he is the all that. i told him i that the 450 would beat him. just not on top end. so he said get one and we will race. he want to race to races. one is only like 200 yards. i know i will win that one. the other is like 450 or 500 yards. would i win that one? thanks

short race yfz long race rappy [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] cause the rappy has like 2-3 more top speed

i heard that a torque stuffer would give me a couple of mph on top end.
is this true. i am pretty new to the atv world. so i dont know much.

It takes GIANT horsepower gains to get just a touch more top-end(And I do mean GIANT) without a gearing change. Adding h.p. generally equates to a quad that will reach top speed quicker.A gearing change will net more top-speed but you will generally sacrifice the quickness..................

Id try going down 1 or 2 in the rear.Going 1 up on the front of a stock bike might spell doom against the raptor. Anyone else agree?I may be wrong.

LOL. ya planning on just riding it?? If all you're gonna do is worry about beating a Raptor, give it to me and I'll ride it.
