Default Using Procom Rectifier - up to 8% increase in power

Anyone buying up to an 8% increase in power? This is one of the site sponsors products. I don't see any dyno charts on their website.

Any of them (Raptor, z400, 400ex)

Click on the sponsor website and look at the products. Basically once the battery is charged, it states it has an extra switch that controls the charging system thus relieving the drag on the engine once the battery is fully charged back up. I have trouble believing it takes 8% of the engine power to handle recharging the battery. Not to mention it would not be the same across the board. For example, 8% of a Raptors power is a whole lot more than 8% of a 400ex's power.

It would be a bargain if it were true. Extra power without having to change to a louder exhaust is a plus in my book.

This has been covered a few times in a couple different forums. Long story short it doesnt perform like it says; I wouldnt even buy it if I had to replace one.

If you want extra power w/o noise, try a good cdi box with a raised rev limiter AND a timing advance feature.I normally smoke z400's on my v force, even if they're piped, but this one gus was stock, except for a cdi(not sure what kind)and I couldn't gain an inch on him!He mighta had a cam or something, but I have definately heard good things about 'em.
