2005 Kodiak 450 Wheels
You don't need larger tires to overcome tippyness. You need wider stance and using those ITP wheels will give that to you. I would stay with the stock 25 size and if you want the best possible tires for trail type conditions I would get radial. The best ones I've seen are the ITP HoleShot ATR. They are the most like stock but are radial so they are flatter on the ground which gives you more traction and makes the machine more stable. No the MudLites are good if your doing alot of mudding but if you are mostly trailriding with a little mud here and there go with the holeshot or another type of radial. Now I'm sure other people have different opions but that is what I've found out researching all the different tires out there. If you go with the 26 you wil gain a half inch of clearence but you will lose power. Not much but on a kodiak I would rather have all available power and not worry so much about its already decent clearence.
Keep in mind if you do go with the ITP wheels they stick out farer than stock so unless you get the OverFenders you will get alot muddier than stock rims but you will gain less tippyness.
