Raptor versus ds650

Yes, For all full system exhausts, the raptor gains at least 15 hp max.For the lrd racing it gains from 33 hp to 47.It reacts to simple mods and engine mods a hell of a lot better than a ds.Just because you use all of your fancy trash talk words with your ghetto mouth doesnt mean peole are going to favour your opinion. So please, do us all a favour and shut your freakin mouth you stuck up s.o.b.

I never said a raptor couldn't be improved. You on the other hand said the ds can't be improved very much to which I say bull ****, and even showed you a site where stock and modded ds hp # are clearly stated on dyno charts. Did you even look at hpresearch {dot} com? Or are facts that don't go your way too much to deal with. Also I don't care who "favors" my opinion. Facts are facts.

yes the raptor does gain more than the ds for simple mods....but for the ds gaining none...that is just bs. and 15HP HOLY CRAP sounds high to me but whatever this isnt a fighting post the guy is wanting help on deciding what quad to get. Take a look at them both...even test ride them both and decide for yourself on what one will fit you best for your type of riding.

Both good quadz mawcus... u can't go wrong selecting either of them. Rode them both many of timez. Like Dunerider said, go out and test drive both of them. Gettin opinions/facts from a neutral party is a good idea, since most ppl stand by their product.

DAMN! This thread is funny as hell. I just bought a 700R but if I were going Baja Racing I think I would have bought a DS seeing as how they always seem to perform better then anything else running and it is the DS claim to fame. I prefer woods and fire trails though, I bought a 700R. Why because I didn't care what anyone else said including Forums or Magazines. I just wanted it a bike I don't have to fiddle with the carbs. If i want to fiddle with Carbs I can go out and screw up the carbs on my VW. lol All the magazine testers are all bashing the 660's but I bet there are plenty of guys/gals who love them. Buy what makes you happy. I was lucky enough to. Too bad you don't live out here in CA. I know a guy in Lodi, California that is selling his and he has only ridden it 3 times. It has more dust from the inside of his garage then any trails he has been on. Before I bought my 700 I never realized how much extra equipment you get standard on a DS.
