valves

Default valves

i just my adjusted my valves and i dont know if i did it right the tappets were sitting really low when i went to go adjust them and now that i adjust them they sit really high so i was wondering if i did it rite

Were you on the correct tdc?
You could have been 360 degrees off on the timing mark on the crank. Were you able to wiggle the rockers with your fingers before adjustment, or were they too tight?

yes i was at tdc
they were to tight i couldnt get the feeler gauge threw so i adjusted them but noe they look so high then before they were adjusted

There are two tdc...one is the top of the compression stroke, and one is the top of the exhaust stroke. If they were tight when you started, it makes me believe you were on the wrong one. I think youre gonna have to go back and recheck them.
