help with needle

Default help with needle

the needle assy on a 02 raptor, does anyone has a picture on how to install all the prat in the right order. i have a service manual that shows it one way and a c/d that shows it differant. what is the right way to do this[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

Default help with needle

This is how I put mine together, and its how they were together when I got it. first put the clip in the right slot then right below the needle there should be a white plastic washer or ring not sure what to call it, the the skinnier of the two metal washers below the plastic washer. the the fatter metal washer should go on top of the clip, then the little spring on top of that, and then the little plastic piece with the oring on it above that, and that is the piece holds the assy in place. and if you need any help then I can send you a picture.

with the white plistic spacer and washer is on top of the clip will that make it leaner ?

not sure, but I wouldn't do it. if you want to change the needle position just change the slot that the clip is in.

Yep, but that's not how you are supposed to adjust the jetting. There may be functional and clearance issues also when doing it that way.
