I’ve had my Raptor for 3 weeks now and already I’ve bent the gear shift under the motor, bent the left tie rod out into left field and I bent right axel ¾ inch out of true. All on separate occasions. I don’t consider my self a radical rider. In fact I can’t recall anything on those rides that would have resulted in the bending of my gear. I’ve had my ’85 Honda 125m 3 wheeler for 16 years and it’s been bullet proof. I’m a little concerned about the integrity of my Raptor. Is anyone else experiencing problems?

(ie. – I still love it. I’ve been smoking 400EXs left and right…)

I Havent had any problems, but others have. sounds to me like your a wee bit rough on it to bend a shifter and all. Are you riding trails or trying to Clear new ones with your front end. Maybe if its that rough you should downgrade to a 4x4.

No probs yet, this thing runs great. Last night would have been a good test to see how it was gonna hold up, and it did. I took it out to a local riding area with jumps and what have you. I am 6'3" and weigh over 200 lbs. I didn't have any problems at all.

I came around a corner in a sand wash and hit the rear brake rotor on a rock. The rotor went through the plastic skid and it now looks like a piece of angle iron. New one is $150.

No problems here. Got mine in the first Sept. shipment from my dealer. Jumps very nice. All is holding up to the beating I give it.

Ps. I havent been to these forums much since getting mine, and believe it or not...still the same old Sh-t goin on. Lol. No wonder I left for a month..and leavin again too. Too much BS and false info in here.
