Better question might be "has anyone ever ridden both and performed timed runs to determine what is quicker?".

I have 3 400exs that are all faster when I am piloting than my girlfriend who weighs 100 lbs less than me. Yet, I know that the 2000 is quicker than the 2003 that is quicker than the 2001. The 2001 recently got 2 new intake valves and piston rings so I don't know what is quicker now. I am still breaking it in. At least it doesn't smoke now.

All this talk about can one quad beat another and it still boils down to, who gets the holeshot and who's the better rider. We'll be down at Florence, Oregon this next weekend with every make and model of quad available, they'll be mucho racing because that's what we like to do, but more than that, we love to ride together and meet new people, so our trip there will be a great social gathering of riders from Washington and Oregon.

As far as this topic is concerned, we'll race stock and modded 700r's against stock and modded 660r's. And just to throw a wrench in all this, I'll have a rider on my 700R (baffle removed, GYTR filter, no lid) and I'll be on my wife's V Force (stock) just to see how those two fair against each other.

I was in oklahoma This last weekend and there wasn't a stock machine except the new 06 yfz that could beat my new raptor. only mod was no air box lid and no exhaust core. NOT ONE And speaking of the ds it was one of the slowest machines there. This is no Shiiitt
