Well warrior has been around for a long time and i like to stick with the old school. A z400 is nice but i just can't part with my warrior yet.

You really cant compare the power of an air-cooled 2-valve 350 (Warrior) to a liquid-cooled 4-valve 400 (Z).
Personally, Id have some concerns in buying a Suzuki because with their uncertain future you never know if they will even be in business in 5 years. At least with Honda, Yamaha and Polaris you can be pretty sure they will be around.

The warrior is a great quad for what it is. I still ride mine occassionally and let the girlfriend ride the Z. The good thing about the old engine design is that parts are cheap. For a few hundred dollars you can do a high comp piston with a cam and valve springs which will put you a lot closer to a stock Z/clone.

After riding today (Warrior and KFX in sig and my buddy's 450r w/ pipe/filter/no lid) I'm thinking about a few mods for the Warrior because it's pretty damn far behind.

HUH? Why wouldn't Suzuki be around? They dominate the sportbike market and are neck and neck with Honda and Yamaha in the atv market. They're rising in the automotive market. Yhere's a race circuit in Japan with these little indy style cars that only run Hyabusa engines. There's no chance of them ever being in financial trouble, so why wouldn't the original aport quad manufacturer be around?

I wouldnt say they dominate the sportbike market. Yamaha has won more superbike championships worldwide than anyone else. They dont have anywhere near the ATV marketshare that Honda, Yamaha and Polaris do.
Actually, Suzuki has been in financial trouble for quite a few years now and thats why they have partnered with Kawasaki. They are now trying to split with Kawi and their future is really uncertain.
They may be OK or they may not, who can say for sure.
