Default 06 Kodiak 450

All you newbies to the Kodiak think you found a secret huh? LOLOLOL,,,just kidding. For the money it cannot be beat.
I had a 2000 when they first came out and it was a great machine.Option wise they have came a long way but the engine is the same except for that whopping 20cc more.I put 3k on mine and never really did anything more than normal maintainence.I would buy another one in a minute but since I have had a Prairie now I am not sure I could adjust to going back down in power.........now if they would just somehow find a way to put the Grizz engine in it hummmmmmmmmmm

I'm too interested to know if they fixed the brake squeak or changed the rear greese zerks to angle ones on the 06 verse the 05's. Anyone with a 06 care to comment?

Do you have any pics of your Kadiak 450? What about the shocks, how's the ride?

Kodiaks are a excellent choice.

There are no real difference between 06 and 05's.I bought two 06's and the only difference that I know of is the decals. The 06's don't state the engine size(450cc)

Weird but true!!!

They continue to impress me.The only thing that I have found is on a long steep hill there is a lack of power for higher speeds.

I have a new 06 with about 50 miles on it. The rear brake sqeak is still there. However, they did change to an angled zerk.

Love the thing. Its my first 4 wheeler. I am having so much fun. Go out on the hunt with it next week.
