A 1/4 turn would be 90 degrees, and would be the fastest twist you can buy, not slow. And its definately now what you would want on a trail machine. Go with a 120 degree turbo for your bike, the rest (cr/cr pro/etc) are all around 180 degrees which would be a half turn.[/quote]
I guess the 120* TURBO sounds like a good choice. 180* would be too slow and I would probably have problems going WOT from a start. The 90* would be too sensitive for trail riding as well, so 120 it is. Thanks!

Read the info on the Motion pro site. Notice where it says the cr pro is the slowest turning throttle they offer.

maddog was that on a raptor with stock carbs?
The rate is what you need to look at when trying to figure out how much twist a throttle will actually have not the listed degrees of twist.
This is what I got with my raptor with stock carbs (24mm travel):
Motion Pro CR Comp which has a rate of 2.35 (rate is degrees of twist to pull/travel 1mm)
It takes 57* of twist to go from idle to full throttle (I measured it) which matches to the listed rate (2.35x24mm=56.4)
The CR Pro would be 2.95x24mm=70.8*
The Turbo would be very close to the Comp 2.30x24mm=55.2*
The push pull is 3.67x24mm=88*
I would get the CR Pro if I were to buy one now the Comp is a little to fast.
