Default Mods for a '04 blaster

Well, they sell them as blaster but they are just ones designed for a banshee that their retro kit let's them fit the blaster also. I got mine to work with banshee spindles as the old style blaster upper is different. The work just fine and should last as long or longer than the rest of the bike. You can use stock length shocks but the actual stock ones will not be up to the task. I am running 91 Suzuki LT250R shocks right now. They work better than stock banshee but are still just a bit on the soft side. I will end up getting some aftermarket I guess if I don't find any newer factoryones that work well of another bike.
