Default Anyone have bigger tires on their Bruin?

I put the 26 inch mudlites with ITP type 5 rims on my kodiak. I think it depends on the elevation for the power loss. My kodiak runs great till around 7000 feet. It is most likely a jetting issue. I never had a problem at higher elevation untill I put on the bigger tires. It just seems to be real sluggish all the way through the powerband. Even with the EPI clutch kit. If you don't ride in the mountains I would say do it. Oh yeah you might have to adjust your shocks to a higher setting. Mine rubs when going fast and hitting bumps and whoops. I hope this helps.

I ride in all sorts of different terrain. Basically everything but sand. I havent really gotten stuck anywhere so I guess going with a better 25" tire would be best. I dont want to mess around with jetting just yet. But nowhere in Western MA is really that high above sea level. Highest point is 3,500 ft. So maybe I should take the chance with the 26"
