I'm thinking of replacing the tires (and keeping the rims/wheels) on my Yamaha Wolverine. The type of tire I need should be effective in mud/snow and general trail riding. Can anyone suggest a tire that represents a great value?

Kenda Bear Claws. Great all around tire that is light years ahead of the stockers. They wear like iron too. I'm very happy with my Claws, when they finally wear out (could be a while) I'll replace them with another set of Claws.

 

I have a set of Maxxis Sur-Tracs (25") on .190 Douglas wheels with reinforcement rings on the outside of the rims installed by OMF. I ran these on a 95 Wolverine which I just sold to a friend but I kept the rims/tires. If by chance your interested let me know, I have pics of them on the quad.....

 

ive got the 25 inch sur-traks as well and I love em. they are a lot like th bear claws but wieght a little bit less. I also went with 1.5 inch wheel spacers all the way around on my bike. the stance looks great and it handles worlds better especially with the increase in height from the 23 inch tires to the 25 inchers. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED
