Hi all... i just picked up the shee today, i have a question on the throttle cable. they gave me all the old parts and i have the old carb tops with wires. on the bike it has a y cable with no wires. how does this improve the bike?

 

The previous owner probably installed a tors eliminator kit.The tors is a safety device from the factory that many people remove or disable.It is easier to troubleshoot problems without the tors,and easier to work on the carbs.The tors basically make the bike sputter and slow down and not allow it to rev.up if the carbs ever get hung wide open.
