Default *URGENT CARB PROBLEM!*

Ok, my KFX is at my mechanic and the problem with my KFX was that when i gave it throttle it died and when it idled it was fine. He just called and said that there was water in my bowl and that it froze overnight and bent my float (something like that). Now he is talking about getting a new carb..
Is my carb shot? Is this a problem that can b fixed without getting a new carb? thx.

I think you're fixing to spend money on something you don't need.Even if the float is messed up,the float should just be replaced. It should be extremely easy to do.I DON'T think you should need a new carb.Just my 2 cents.
