EFI or Carb.
I really like the idea of EFI. For racers I think it is great, just because you can tune it at the track fairly quick and easy. Some racers will disagree with me, but IMO those are the type that do not like change.
I think you will see EFI on the 4-stroke dirtbikes before to long. I really wish my CRF450 had it, when it is cold outside it is harder than all get out to get the thing to stay running until it warms up. Not to mention when you tip it over and it stalls, it is hard to get refired. I believe EFI would cure this.

EFI or Carb.
I do 90% sand dunes, 10% desert. I beleive EFI to be better in many aspects. It will always be consistent.
If you have a 700 Raptor, then you already know like myself and others that it does not compensate for modifications...only atmospherical changes. I have put an aftermarket programmer on the bike to compensate for mods.
Only carbed vehicle i have left is my 99 YZ 250 which is for sale.
