Advice please?

i'm sorta leaning towards the Z now, but still not sure.
would it beat a quadracer250 in a drag?
would the power of "gettin up and movin out" be similar (in power) to my KX?
does the banshee wheelie as easy as the Z?

I've raced my warrior against both quadracers and z400's, and ride my cousin's quadracer sometimes. I think the z will take the 250 off the line and up to 2nd gear, but once the quadracer gets into the powerband it'll catch up and pass the z without a lot of trouble. In the trails the z400 will have a great advantage over the quadracer though, with it's better suspension and torquey motor that can be ran in higher gears through the corners, so there's not nearly as much clutch work and shifting.

For one thing i can tell you now the z or any two wheel drive quad sucks in the snow. if im in second gear on fresh(about 8inches) snow and im winding out the gear i get 15 feet into my yard from the street before it bogs down and shuts off.But if the snow is packed down or if there is about an 1 inch on the drive way there is nothing else like it, you can have some sick fun in parking lots.

As far as the z in the snow- I haven't had a problem. Goes excellant so far. But I put 22" holeshots on and we've only gotten 4-6 inches so far. With a set of realtors it would be awesome.
I have both the z and a quadracer (250) and they're 2 totally different animals so there's really not any kind of comparison between the 2. I got the z because I didn't feel like wrenching when I could be riding. And I ride mostly trails, so it's a much better choice. I haven't ridden my racer since I bought my z.

how 'bout a honda 450R? would one of those take the quadracer 250?
i still want the banshee, but i'll be riding way out in the boondox alot and won't be able to get mixed-gas all that easy, unless i travel back to town alot. then again, how big is the banshee's gas tank?
i like both the 4 and 2 stroke sounds, but i'm still tied up on which quad to get.
and o yea, would works' black widow shocks be a good buy? if i got the 'shee?

hoo yeah a 450r would take a quadracer. A 10 year old on a 450r burned my cousin on his quadracer without even winding the gears out all the way. The banshee has a decent sized gas tank, but the banshee will still burn through a tank of gas faster than you could ever imagine if you're riding it hard. 4 strokes have much better gas mileage than the 2 strokes. For the type of riding you described I think the black widow shocks would be a lot more than you need. You don't need shocks that good unless you do some crazy $hit or ride hard on mx tracks. My warrior's stock suspension is about on the same level of performance as the banshee's stock suspension, and it's still good enough for soaking up flat landings from like 4 or 5 feet without bottoming out.

yeah, thought so too. sounded like a good deal though.
would the banshees gas tank be bigger than my KX?
cuz i can ride for about 3 hours on that without refilling.
i probably won't ride hard all the time, cuz i'll have to let my friends catch up now and then.
i'll have to keep my eyes out for either a 450R or a 'shee. my dad said he'll give me a $4,000 max spending limit. but if you take about $400 out for freight shipping, from anywhere cuz i'm sure i'll be buying a quad off of someone far away cuz the dealership is too expensive around here, i'll have about $3,600 all together to find a quad. Then i'll have about $500 saved, so you could say about $4,100 to get a quad. is this enough money? i'm lookin' for a 2002-2004 'shee, or 2004 450R.
i'm serious, i wanna kick some quadracer and blaster @$$ baby!

You can usually find shees with plenty of mods from 3,000 - 4,000... its not fun unless you do it yourself though . The 450r price is gonna be a whole different story, you can probablly find a stock one for 5k.

yeah i know. the price for a used 450R is pretty dang high. i don't think i can get one of those, unless i stumble on one for around $4,300. maybe. if not, my dad said he'll get me a trailer so i could just pull my quad to wherever i'm goin' and unload it and keep a good supply of gas on hand, so when i run low, i can ride back and get some more. sounds like a good plan to me.
i used to have an '89 blaster when i was 8 and i thought that was the funnest thing in the winter time with all the snow. that thing was superb. it started on the first kick every time, we had studded tires on it and that thing moved out. the propane man accidentally ran into it once so we were forced to sell it for only $600. I thought it was still good, all we needed was a used rear axle, it would of been good. o well, whatever i'm gettin' in January, it's gonna be fast, strong, and mighty.
i'm still keeping on the lookout for a used 450R, if anyone can hook me up.
