Why ? You've got to be suspicious of that. Is it from ebay or something. I wouldn't do that unless it's in person. Definetly have the vin # checked to be sure it's not stolen, if it is then do us all a favor and report him.
If you're gonna buy this not in person, tell him the only way you'll do it is through paypal and use a credit card. If it is stolen or a scam, then you can dispute the charges and only be liable for the first $50 I believe.

yeah i sorta figured that. I don't think i'd do it anyway. I'll just wait until my b-day. maybe by then i'll see a good deal on nice 'shee or 450R.
I'm just glad if found out which quads would dominate around here.
like i said b4, i'm looking for 'shee or a 450R or YFZ 450. I'm not worried about it, i'm sure i'll find one when the time comes and when i got the cash ready.

i don't even have my KX anymore. I traded it straight across for a trx90 for my little brother. Were gonna try and hide it till x-mas so we could give it to him.
but thanx for all your guy's help. you gave the exact advice i was lookin' for. I've narrowed my search for a quad down to three.
but what's the best exhause to get for

450R:

YFZ 450:

Banshee:

i was thinkin about it for awhile in skool today then figured it'll probably be a scam, so i'll not be gettin' it. I figure by the time my b-day rolls around and when i got the cash in hand, i'll be able to find a good deal. till then i'll keep my eyes peeled for any good quads. you all helped me narrow it down to three:

450R

Banshee

YFZ 450

by the way, what's the best exhaust to get for each of those?
thanx

450R: More trail rider friendly than the YFZ450. Not as snappy!

Banshee: More drag racing quad. Not that fast stock, and still not that fast with just a few bolt on mods.

YFZ450: Fast quad! Trail, MX, Dune, Open, it's fast! Snappy kind of power! But do you think you need a snappy, fast, DOHC in the trails? Thats the TRX450 section. Would you need a greathandleing quad that is usually worth more than the banshee to start off with drag racing? Thats the Banshee section..........................................

are you sure? i heard that the trx450R can smoke the YFZ.
I also like the way the 450R looks. I don't like the YFZ cuz it looks too pointy with the plastics on the front.
but either way, unless i find one of those for a good price, then i aint gettin' one. I'll just go with the banshee.
it'll be fast enough for around here.

the yfz and 450r are closer matched than he makes it seem. The yfz is a little faster than the 450r, but not by much at all. The 450r is more comfortable in trails and rough terrain. The yfz bounces over rocks a little more than the 450r. And don't let him make you believe the banshee isn't that fast, because even a stock one does a nice job of stretching your arms out under acceleration.

Whatever. Just make up your mind already. If you are planning on drag racing and doing lots of mods, get the Banshee. If you are going to ride mostly the track, get the YFZ450. If you are going to the track, but also riding lots of trails, the TRX450 would be more comfortable than the YFZ450 even though the YFZ450 would be a little faster. Banshee isn't that great for trails or track without very great mods (handling). There you go. Now pick which one you think best suits you.

the banshee handles nice, corners well, and has good power. Just do not buy a new one, you can easily find one with pipes and shocks, and that is all you need.
