Oh yeah! And the Z400 would be able to acclerate faster than a 400EX anyday. There was a shootout between the two 2005 versions. The Z400 was great. It won every drag race and pushes 70mph where the 400EX stayed in the 65mph range. The Z400 would definitely be able to take on any stock quad that has a 400cc class or under (not banshee). Such as the blaster, Raotor 350, 400EX, ........

Nope (4 stroke) for stock. Unless you do some serious mods which will make you mix gas for the higher octane. My friend has a Z400 which he runs 110 octane in.

The only sport quads around here right now are: 2002 blaster (piped, fmf.) 2004 trailblazer 1994 trx 90 1986 quadracer 250 2004 recon 250.

would i have the fastest quad out of all of those? i live in a rural community, so there isn't too much quads here. i want to be the fastest though, so no one can talk smack. the way i look at it, if the quadracer can climb any hill around here, i want a quad that can top that.

how would i go about making the Z loud and mean sounding?

how is the size of it? i'm 185 pounds and 5ft 11in. i wouldn't look like a big ape on it would i?
i still like the banshee, but if it's gonna need to be maintenanced more than a four stroke then i don't want it. i'll be happy with a quad that is faster and better than the quadracer around here.

 

i've been thinkin how to say what kinda quad i want.
i've narrowed it down.
i just want a quad that'll give me an adrenaline rush and have the power to fly jumps, climb the hills around here in about 3rd or 4th gear. I also want it to have enough power to throw dirt and gravel all over. I want it to be similar in power to my KX 250. cuz i can open that up and it's a blast. if the Z is like this then i'll take it. But if there's any other quad that is faster than the Z, let me know. cuz i know the banshee is for one, but i don't know of any others. I don't want a raptor either cuz i heard they're pretty heavy and slow. i want something light and powerful and similar to my KX. i kinda want a four stroke for a change so i can pipe it out and make it loud. ......sweet.

 

go with the z it has electric start , liquid cooled and last it has reverse and what did i forget an amazing power band that has many options for up grades . also the kfx400 is the kawasaki it is the same thingh but comes in green and orange color plastics. the arctic cat dvx 400 is also the same thing but it has a bad seat and horrible looking plastics but that personal pref.

 

so with the Z, all i'd have to do is add gas, not a pre-mix?
and it would be fast enough for what i explained? can it accelarate as fast as a banshee?
and how could i make it loud and mean sounding?
