I Was told if you shave some weight off the flywheel you can gain a little power. So i want to know the DOES and DONTS of doing this. Thanks

Technically, you don't gain power, but by reducing the rotating mass, you will have better throttle response (which feels like more power).

Good thing to do? Yes, as long as you don't weaken the flywheel too much to cause a failure of the flywheel.

I belive you only has to buy a new one because if you take to your flywheel with a grinder or anything else and don't get it perfectly ballanced bad things will happen. A lighter flywheel will allow your engine to rev quicker because there will be less rotating mass so it might give you a sportier feel. But make sure you do your research.

Hope this helps.
