im thinking about getting a 660R (sorry honda). and i was wondering what the reverse revlimiter was like and if it is possible to bypass it like the kfx/z400 by switching some wires around??

Default reverse revlimiter

A very simple and fast procedure, just splice a wire and ground it out.

Default reverse revlimiter

this is how i by passed my rev limiter on my 04 raptor 660
raptor tranny.com has a diagram for you
but this is what i did, i bought a 100ohm resistor from radio shack for $2.00 and a sodering iron
i disconected the battery and cut some of the black tape so i could access the wiring harness, located the green/tan striped wire, and connected the resistor to it by soldering it in, then i located the thin black wire next to it and soldered the resistor to it, now i don't have a reverse rev limiter and my reverse light still works when i engage reverse, the raptor tranny.com says your reverse light won't work but mine still does how i did it,
i have not had any problem with this set up, i installed it back in october and have been riding quite a bit, no problems
