Raptor 350 vs. Z400 vs. 400EX vs. KFX 400
All of the quads are stock. Who would win in the trails and in a drag. I know ya'll will say that it depends on the rider. If the same rider runs timed laps with each of these beasts which quad would have the quickest times. I hear about how people are sayin get a z. Are they pretty good? If the z would win easily then who would win between a Raptor 660 and the Z400. I'm thinkin of buyin anyone of these like this summer or somewhere around there. Thanks for any responses.

Just how big a ol boy are ya? You need to hop on each of them and see how they feel to you because each of them have their places to shine, and each have their flaws. I've been reading about the Z having some corrosion problems on the newer models, so that has pushed me away from them until that is fixed. I like the 03-05 660 raptors, and you just cant go wrong with the 400ex. The 350 raptor is just underpowered compared to the other quads you listed. The KFX400 is dam near the same thing as the Z400. Its all about what quad fits you and makes you happy.

Hey you and me are about the only people who still have big bears....except mines older. Now I don't know much about motors but what would corrosion do? If they all feel the same then which is the most reliable? I want a yamaha but I don't know if I want a raptor or not, I've been tossing a blaster or 400ex up in the air and boring both out to 40 more cc to a 240 blaster or 440ex. Right now there is no since in me getting one because baseball start Jan. 2. We condition everyday mon.-fri. after school all the way till may. So I might as well just wait because I will have no time to ride except weekends and i'll want to rest/nurse sore arm and legs. I didn't really want to play baseball but I might as well, I love it so much and I'm not ready to give it up. I just hate high school sports. They take it too seriously, i like playin for fun.

All three of the other quads you compared to thr raptor 350 are more performance minded, meaning better handling and better power. THe raptor 350 is a good quad, but its not even competition for the others.
Out of al those, I think the z/kfx has the better over all performance. If you SEARCH you will find a lot on this same topic!

I raced a brand new stock 350 rapty with my blaster. The rapty was barely faster. I know that a 400 suzuki is way faster. They are more comparable to predators and 450 yfzs. The rapty is very comparable to 300 ex's and blasters. They are very good trail bikes though. I would say that they are good all around beginner bikes.

take the raptor 350 out of the question i have raced each of these when mine was stock and i lost big time to kfx and z 400, it was a little closer with the ex but not much. with a slip on exhaust and a jet kit i can keep up with any of these easily. My friend owns a 2005 kfx and it has had so many problems i would not recommend one unless u want to do some work to it. the 660r kills a z400/ kfx in a race. for reliability either go with 350 raptor, 400 ex or 660 raptor. For a great quad that might need some work get a 400.

Ive owned a 2000 warrior(raptor 350) 2003 z-400 and now a 660 raptor. The 350 loses aginst the 400 EX and the Z/KFX 400 beats the 400EX. The Z 400 beats the 660 of the line all the way to 5TH gear but the raptor 660 beats it at top end. the z and raptor has roughly the same ride but the Z jumps and land way better!
