Default Been sitting for a while

Well ever since i got the grizzly i havent really been sharing my attention between the bikes...but any ways my raptor has been sitting without getting started for bout 2months...and i didnt turn gas off and let it run out my last time i parked it, so now im facing the problem of it not starting, i changed plugs, but still nothing..im guess the gas has gunked up on me and its time to get dirty, but i was just wondering if theres a easier way..like has anyone tried drainging gas then throw in cleaner..im up for ideas ...

usually no quick fix, but i'd try lots of things before pulling those carbs out. drain the gas out thru the bowls - it may free stuff up. I put race gas in mine and then drained the bowls and it started right up. the race fuel is kinda corrosive or at least aggressive hehe. now i shut off the petcock and let it run till its dry. no problems.

actually... the quick fix is to spray some carb cleaner or starter fluid (basically aerosol can of ether) on the air filter, or take the air filter off and spray into the carb.... I've done this numerous times with several bikes.

Don't get into a habit of doing it however, since prolonged use of it probably isn't good for the bike...

the easiest thing to do is put stabilizer in the gas. Then you dont have to clean the carbs in the first place!

But sometimes you dont know that it will end up sitting for 2 months, so that's one of those things where you have to plan ahead.
