Quad Protection
#1
I have a 1996 yamaha warrior and i have replaced some things on it so far and i want ot protect those things, and me, form further damage. My budget is low and i can only afford two out of these three things : nerf bars, engine skidplate, and rear bumper. My question is are the rear bumpers useful or is it a waste of money and are nerf bars comfortable and do they protect your legs or feet at all. i decided i think i should get the engine skidplate to protect the engine and frame but what else should i get.

All of them are good to have. Do you do a lot of weelies? If so a good grab bar can help from the bike comming back on you if you go to far back. The stock one will also do the same but can break easier. Nerf bars are nice to have for jumping and protection too. I have them on my rappy and i love them. The skid plate will defenatly help on the trails with rocks and stumps. The stock one does pretty good. I have beat the crap out of my stock skid and it still works. I guess it all depends on what kind of riding you do. I hope i help.

The nerf bars are nice, but to tell u the truth, i forget they are there from the trail riding and constant shifting. But the rear grab bar is good for moving the bike around, standing it up on to clean it, or i guess wheelies. But the full skid plates are something i would definately suggest for trails because it helps protect from gravel, dirt, and keeps the bottom of the engine clean too.
