First two things to do to stock 2002 Grizz 660
#1
I just got a 2002 Grizzly 660 with about 480 miles on it. The maint. and everything has been kept up and is current. Besides tires, what are two basic and inexpensive things I can do to improve my stock grizz. I ride trails and a few mude holes in Kentucky. Thanks for your advise!!!

I'm not quite sure what you consider inexpensive.... I would consider these invaluable if ever ride/make rough trails... belly skid plates, and front A-arm skids... A-arm skids to protect the drive shafts and tie rods, and belly skid to protect the frame/engine/rear braking assembly. I would get the rear A-arm skids too... but the fronts are more important as the grass hides plenty of dangerous logs that have a way of sneaking right over the factory plastic ones and breaking drive shafts and tie rods...
90 bucks for the fronts
100 if I remember right for the belly...
and 90 for the rears....
It's the first thing I would do to any 4x4 quad.

You can do the exhaust mod.......(remember to keep the spark screen clean at all times.)
Get a good rack bag or box for it and keep it stockedfor trail riding........(do a few searches on a few web sites for tool's & other misc. things people carry)
