I have a buddy that bought his Raptor here in Colorado, had less then 5 hours on it and the clutch went out! The dealership claims the clutch plates are welded together and they aren't sure if it will be covered under warranty. Needless to say, he's livid...is the clutch a common problem????????

The clutch is'nt a common problem, but I'm sure it is not indestructible. It should be fixed on a new machine under warranty. Is your bud one of those guys that is very strict following break-in procedures?

Yes, but even if he wasn't...the clutch should not go after the first 5 hours of riding.
