All methods of proving a point have been exhausted. ATVs are not superior to Dirtbikes. and thats the bottom line.

I think pikes peak is steeper and has alot more turns, so it is harder anyway, thats why the banshee beats everything else, it can hold a faster speed than the cars through the turns. I need to find out for sure though.

would claim there is no way that ATVs would ever steal the lime-light from supercross or motocross events
with todays technology ATV's have finally leaped beyond dirtbikes.
With the advent of fuel injection on ATV's
now standard 10"+ shocks ATV's are not only in the same category with dirtbikers but are surpassing them in many regards.
Please, the suspension can't even compete. Do you have any idea how much a factory "works" suspension is? You probably don't even know what that is.
I have seen more and more new 450's smoking dirtbikes at the local tracks
dirtbike videos are losing their luster
So I guess the next time that dirtbiker pulls up to you and asks you why you have training wheels on your bike
just ask them why they aren't riding a real 2 wheel machine on the road like a roadbike or a 140+hp sportbike...
There those are all quotes from you.

I never said ATV's were better in general than dirt bikes.
No 'poo' Shirlock! And we are talking about ATV's not rail buggies, trophy trucks, F1 cars, Drag Cars.
Sounds like your arguing with yourself. Those words never came out of my mouth nor did I write them here in this forum post.
